Copyright for Content Creators Online

Are you developing a patient pamphlet? Working on an LMS course? Creating a subject guide? If so, you need to think about copyright. Whether you are referencing articles or adding videos and images to enhance your content, knowing how to do so legally and ethically is important.

Learning objectives:

  • Understand how copyright applies to you
  • Interpret terms of use and Creative Commons licences
  • Keep track of your sources and cite appropriately
  • Find safe-to-use images and videos
  • Request permission to use resources when necessary

Recommended for: Creators of patient education pamphlets, subject guides or LMS courses.
