Copyright Focus: Creative Commons Licenses Online

Copyright Focus Series: In this series of three hands-on sessions, we’ll dive deeper into some commonly misunderstood copyright-related topics. Whether you attend one session or all three, you’ll learn how to make copyright-compliant decisions when creating content for Nova Scotia Health.

Session 1: Creative Commons (CC)

In this session you will:

  • Learn what CC licenses are and how to interpret them.
  • Search reputable sources for CC-licensed images and other resources.
  • Understand how to appropriately cite CC works.

Consider signing up for the other sessions in this Copyright Focus Series:

Recommended for: Nova Scotia Health staff who create content (e.g. publications, LMS, subject guides, presentations) and want to learn more about copyright.
