DESCRIPTION:Please note: This event will use Microsoft Teams\n\nDeveloping 
 Patient Education Resources \n\nApproximately half of all Nova Scotians 
 experience some challenges understanding the health information and 
 teaching provided to them. \n\nThis session will highlight how easy-to-read 
 and up-to-date patient education resources can support both patient care 
 and safety. You’ll learn about creating a new pamphlet\, how to 
 facilitate the updating process\, and how to find\, use and share Nova 
 Scotia Health patient pamphlets. \n\nLearning objectives: 
 \n\n\n	\n	Identify how patient education resources can support you\, your 
 team and your patients. \n	\n\n\n\n	\n	Describe the pamphlet creation 
 process (developing\, editing and updating patient education resources). 
 \n	\n\n\n\n	\n	Find and share Nova Scotia Health patient pamphlets. 
 \n	\n\n\nRecommended for: All Nova Scotia Health team members 
 (administrative staff\, allied health teams\, CNEs)\, new to developing or 
 updating patient pamphlets\, or those in need of a refresher. \n\nPlease 
 note: This session does not apply to Public Health\, Nova Scotia Health 
 Cancer Care Program\, or IWK Health pamphlets.  \n
