 evaluate information sources is crucial to finding relevant\, unbiased\, 
 evidence-based research in healthcare. \n\nEnsuring the research\, we find 
 is of the highest quality is essential before applying findings to patient 
 care. How do we assess the content in published research (academic 
 literature) and online (grey literature) to determine its value\, 
 relevance\, and trustworthiness? \n\nIn this session\, we will explore what 
 critical appraisal is and why it is an essential step in the research 
 process. We will also cover critical appraisal tools that can be 
 incorporated into your research process to help appraise academic 
 literature and grey literature systematically and 
 effectively.\n\n\n\nLearning Objectives:\n\n\n	Understand what critical 
 appraisal is and why it’s important\n	Distinguish between academic 
 literature and grey literature\n	Identify how critical appraisal can be
